Conferences and workshops

The NCT offers a range of conferences and workshops for health professionals involved in maternity, neonatal and postnatal services.

Our conferences bring together key speakers who are experts in their fields as well as experienced chairs and facilitators to ensure each conference is packed full of interesting topics and the very latest research and users' experiences.  With delegates coming from all aspects of women's and children's services, these multidisciplinary conferences offer stimulating debate and lively discussion and are always sold out.

Our workshops:

  • Are tailor-made to suit specific training needs and can be delivered on an in-house, hosted, or delegate basis across the UK
  • Are designed with clearly defined aims and learning outcomes
  • Are run by tutors with many years of experience as antenatal educators and breastfeeding tutors
  • Offer health professionals the opportunity to discuss differing experiences and to learn from peers and workshop facilitator, in an interactive environment with lots of delegate participation
  • Help you feel more confident in running your antenatal and postnatal classes, leading groups and working one-to-one.
  • Are designed to enhance consultancy and partnership, and work towards service improvement for NHS Trusts, PCTs, PCGs, Sure Start projects, service teams, universities and other educational bodies.
