With over 50 years experience in working with parents, the NCT is perfectly placed to provide inspiring and informative training on pregnancy, labour and life with a baby for health professionals. Our practical approach ensures that everyone who attends our conferences and workshops will gain new skills and ideas to use in their role.

Train to work for the NCT

We are famous for the expertise of our NCT specialist workers, who run our antenatal classes, breastfeeding helpline and drop-in sessions, and postnatal courses. Our flexible education programmes are tailored to your needs and can be completed over a three year period. You only need your own parental experience to become an antenatal teacher or postnatal leader, or six months breastfeeding experience to train as a breastfeeding counsellor.
