Reconfigurations of maternity services

NCT accepts that some reconfigurations of services are necessary but is concerned that some women and their families will miss out on essential maternity services in their community as a result of a reconfiguration. NCT believes that all women and their families should have access to a home birth, a midwife-led unit (MLU) or a consultant-led unit (CLU).
